Kory and I left for New York at 1:00 a.m. on December 26th.  On the day we were to leave NY to go to Florida one of many big snow storms to hit the East Coast that winter slammed into our plans.  It all worked out OK.  We rebook for later flights and get to Florida 4 hours late but we made it!  Lots of waiting in airports though both from NY to FL and from FL to CO.
